Alena Victor (she, her) is the Chief Program Officer at Womankind overseeing the Clients Services and Operations departments within the organization. She is a licensed Social Worker in New York and joined Womankind in 2011. Coming from a Pakistani immigrant family, she seeks to uplift and elevate immigrant voices, especially around gender-based violence. Alena focuses her work on combating societal norms that support subjugation based on gender identity and works to increase collaborative and community-based interventions to engage in a collective and participatory approach to combating gender-based violence within immigrant communities.
