Berenice Rodriguez is the Director of the Civic Engagement and Organizing department at Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Atlanta. She leads a robust team of community organizers through voting rights, multilingual advocacy efforts, and election protection in 16 counties in the State, double from the previous year. This also includes 15 ongoing organizing community-based projects and efforts. She was formally part of the legal department at AAAJ-Atlanta where she was accredited by the Department of Justice and specialized in the removal defense of individuals facing deportation proceedings and seeking asylum.
